In an effort to support the efforts of neighborhoods coming together, the police department will direct officers assigned to the patrol area having a block party to stop and meet the residents. This provides an opportunity to have residents ask questions in an informal setting while getting to know the officers who work in the village. If you would like the officer to stop at a particular time or discuss crime prevention concerns, please contact the Police Captain to make these arrangements at (414) 351-8911.
Additionally, the North Shore Fire Department offers a similar service to the community and neighborhoods having block parties. The fire department will bring equipment to the party, explain the equipment and procedures, as well as teach hands-only CPR to the attendees. If you would like to have the fire department attend your block party please contact the Community Relations Officer at (414) 357-0113 extension 1514.
